Friday was my good friend,Tom's, 50th birthday, and his girlfriend, Desiree, wanted to do something special for him that he wouldn't forget. She took him for a ride and took to him to Albert Whitted Airport, http://www.stpete.org/airport/, for a helicopter ride along the beach. After their helicopter ride, I met them at The Hanger restaurant, http://www.thehangarstpete.com/, where we met up with a few friends After some birthday cake, we hit a few bars in downtown St. Pete, such as Push, Cafe Alma, Janus Live, etc. Then we headed to Ricky Ts, http://www.rickytsbarandgrille.com/, in Treasure Island, before calling it a night.
