Ribfest

Saturday morning started off down in Bradenton, where my Dad, Uncle Frank, and brother, Chris, made home made kielbasa with the smoker.

Afterwards, I headed home to get packed before heading to the Hilton St Pete Bayfront, http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/SPTSHHF-Hilton-St-Petersburg-Bayfront-Florida/index.do, where Erin and I were spending the night while enjoying a fun day/night at Ribfest, www.ribfest.org.

After leaving the hotel, we started making our way down Beach Drive and stopped at the Moon Under Water, http://www.themoonunderwater.com/, for a pint before heading over.

Upon arriving at Ribfest, we ran into friends, Char and Barry, Donnie and Janice, Tracy and Dawn, and then Lee, Al, Olga, and Tammy. We tried to find Lisa and Lianna, but found out that they were 3rd row center, for Rick Springfield, http://www.rickspringfield.com/.

After Rick Springfield finished playing, Lisa and Lianna were looking to get his autograph, hanging out by where the shirts and other merchandise was being sold. After a time of getting no help by one of the roadies, we received an anonymous tip that he was heading to the Hilton, where Erin and I were staying. Lisa and Lianna, then went full speed running to the Hilton. Later, we found out that they got his autograph, pictures, and Lisa even got a tattoo of his signature on her back.

Erin and I then found Char, Barry, Lee, Al, Olga, and Tammy and hung out watching Grand Funk Railroad, http://www.grandfunkrailroad.com/.
