Birthday Celebration

On Saturday, I had my friends over my house for a fun filled birthday celebration evening. It even got a little crazy when Chris was taking fun house pictures of everyone with an app off of his iPhone.

Red Sox vs Rays at Tropicana Field

On Friday night, Tom and I kicked off my birthday weekend by heading to Tropicana Field, http://mlb.mlb.com/tb/ballpark/index.jsp, to see the series opener between the Rays, http://tampabay.rays.mlb.com/, vs the Red Sox, http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/.

Upon arriving, we picked up a pair of tickets just to the right behind home plate.

We then headed to Fergs, http://fergssportsbar.com/, and ran into our friend, Lisa, who was bartending at the main bar outside. We also ran into one of my co-workers, Scott, and his family.

We hung out at our seats for a couple of innings, then pretty much walked around the rest of the night, seeing the game from a variety of sections.

Unfortunately, the Red Sox lost the first game of the series, http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=310715130, but did hold on to take the other two games that Saturday, http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=310716130, and Sunday night, http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=310717130.
