Weekend in Mass.

In mid-June, I took a long weekend trip up to Mass. to go see the Dave Matthews Band, http://www.davematthewsband.com/, at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford, CT., on Friday the 13th and Sat. the 14th.

It was a quick trip up for a few days before flying back home and didn't realize it at first, but ended up being up there for Fathers Day. Since I was going to be out of town for Father's Day, my cousin, DJ, stepped up to the plate and filled in for me as my Dad's adopted son for the weekend. His Dad, Uncle Donald, was also up in Mass. for the weekend too.

Mark picked me up at the airport, unfortunately, he had to work that night, so my friend Eric picked me up at Mark's house, we stopped by Jim's house, which he is in the process of remodeling, and headed over to Eric's bachelor pad where we watched the Celtics game where they were in the finals.

Friday afternoon, Eric, Jim, Tom, and I went to Casa De Nanas,http://casadenana.com/, which we all used to frequent together on a weekly basis, for some Mexican food for lunch.

Friday night, Jim and I went to see the Dave Matthews Band at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford.

Afterwards we went to the Lighthouse in Ludlow, where my friends band, the Lobsterz from Marz, http://www.lobsterzfrommarz.com/, were playing that night where I ran into a lot of friends that I hadn't seen for awhile while I was there.

Saturday afternoon, Beth, Stacy, and I went to Bernies for a late lunch. I ended up going with the dinner portion of baked stuffed shrimp and whole belly clams, which there aren't to many places that have whole bellys in Florida.
