This past Saturday, we celebrated Uncle Frank and Red's birthday over Uncle Frank and Auntie Nancy's house.
In the morning, I went over Grandma and Red's house for breakfast, where Grandma made blueberry pancakes. Grandma also made homemade lasagna that we brought down to Palmetto for the party.
I went to the Ellenton Outlet Mall, http://www.primeoutlets.com/cntrdefault.asp?cntrid=1019, for a couple of hours while Uncle Frank, Dad, and Rich went golfing at Stonnybrook prior to the party.
After we finished eating lasagna, it was time for the cake and ice cream. Aunt Nancy made her famous strawberry pie for her husband for his birthday and I picked up a Carvel Ice Cream Cake on my way back to the house from the mall. We all gathered around and sang 'Happy Birthday' to the birthday boys, Uncle Frank and Red.
Afterwards, everyone was gathered around mingling when the twins, Lily and Luci, and Lynzi wanted to go swimming. Fortunately, Aunt Nancy was already planning to and was the first one ready. Then Mom, Lily, Luci, and Lynzi got their bathing suits on and they headed out to the pool. Lynzi ended up getting thrown into the pool by DJ. Once Lily hit the water, she was quite the fish in water. Mom played with Luci and Lynzi swam around with Lily and Aunt Nancy.
