Mako's On The Rocks,
After we left the Martiana Grill, http://www.loewshotels.com/restaurants/the-maritana-grille, Erin and went to Mako's On The Rocks, https://makosontherocks.com/, where we met up with Lisa and Josh for a night of dancing.
Martiana Grill at the Don Cesar Hotel
For our 4 year anniversary, Erin and I went to the Martiana Grill, http://www.loewshotels.com/restaurants/the-maritana-grille, at the Don Cesar Hotel, http://www.loewshotels.com/en/Don-CeSar-Hotel.
Little did Erin know, I was going to propose to her that evening. I ended up coordinating this with the staff at the Martiana Grill. When we arrived, we were seated at the booth towards the back of the restaurant. After receiving a glass of wine, I took a walk to the 'bathroom' and met up with the hostess, waiter, and restaurant manager the best way to do this. After going over different ideas with them, I decided upon giving it to her at the end of the meal as a special 'anniversary desert.' I had the ring in my pocket, but the box was inside my car. I gave the restaurant manager the ring and my keys, so he could go to the car and retrieve the ring box while we ate our dinner.
During dinner, we talked and I kept looking up at the mirror above her that showed the entire restaurant, as I was a bit nervous. When we finished eating, Erin moved next to me in the booth while we drank our wine and talked. Then the waiter came over to us presenting to us a special 4 year anniversary desert to celebrate our special occasion with a covered dish. He told Erin, that you have to be on your side of the booth to get your special desert so Erin got up and went back to her seat. When he lifted the cover, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She was blown away and totally surprised by this special moment.
