Palm Pavillion

On Saturday afternoon, Erin and I headed to the Palm Pavilion, http://www.palmpavilion.com/, to go see my friend, Rob, http://robpieniak.weebly.com/, play acoustic. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't as nice as we'd hoped, so instead pf playing outside, he was set up inside. When we arrived we ran into my friends Lisa, Laura, Zack, and Shanti.

Traveling Circus and Medicine Show

On Monday night, Erin, Randy, Dave, Andrew, and I went to the Traveling Circus and Medicine Show,http://www.travelingcircusshow.com/, at Ruth Eckerd Hall, http://www.rutheckerdhall.com/. It featured the Counting Crows,http://www.countingcrows.com/, Michael Franti, http://www.michaelfranti.com/, and Augustana,http://www.augustanamusic.com/.

It started where the members of all three bands played on stage together and rotated playing on each others songs all night. It was the first time that I've been to a concert done that way. Randy hooked us up with 5th row seats so were right up front for all the action all night long. Rob, http://robpieniak.weebly.com/, even went up on stage with his kids to play with Michael Franti on one of the songs off his new album.
