Glenn's Birthday

On Sunday, I had the family over my house to celebrate my 40th birthday. My Mom mad lasagane, Dad the meatballs, and Grandma and Red brought over the birthday cake. Mom, Dad, Grandma, Red, Uncle Frank, Aunt Nancy, Aunt Barbara, Uncle Donald, DJ, and Lani were all there. Lani is staying with Auntie Barbara and Uncle Donald before she flies to Colorado with Tina, Lea's Mom, to meet up with her parents in Colorado.

Dennis and Lea off to Colorado

This past Saturday, Dennis, Lea, and Booda left for their long trek to Colorado to start anew. They packed up the Uhaul and off they went. Then 40 hours later, they arrived in the mountain state, Colorado.

Dave Matthews Band in Tampa

Last Tues. I flew back to Tampa, while riding the air shuttle car over, it mysteriously stopped right in the middle, and we were stuck there waiting for the maintenance guy to come over and reset it. I then met Kevin and Shannon at TGIF for a drink before heading home.

The next night, Brian, Shannon, Kristina, and I went to see the Dave Matthews Band at the Ford Amphitheater, http://www.livenation.com/venue/getVenue/venueId/2651. It was Captain's night, as the Captain n' Coke's were flowing freely as we polished off the bottle by the end of the night. It started off with a remembrance of last year, as it down poured on us when we were walking in. We were dancing wet rats going into the show.

A couple of friends

On one of my last days up in Ludlow, I ran into a couple of friends that I hadn't seen for a while. One night while I was ou with Mark, I ran into Andy at a local bar. Last year, Andy moved down to Florida and stayed at Hotel Paliki for a few months.

Then on my last morning there, I went to Eric's work, Ed Os, http://www.edosonline.com/, to say bye before I left back to Florida, while out there in the back of the shop, the UPS truck. and upon opening the door, was Bill. Eric, Bill, and I used to do lunch every Friday, at either Casa De Nana, http://casadenana.com/default.htm, or the Huke Lau, http://www.hukelau.com/.

Lupa Zoo

On Monday, I stopped by the Lupa Zoo, http://www.lupazoo.org/, in Ludlow, hoping to run into my friend Stan. Unfortunately, he was out with his Dad, Henry, on an errand. I went to school with Stan and used to hang out with his brother, Mark, for a number of years. Mark and I had many good memories together. After all the years of hanging out with Mark, I never really took a walk through the Lupa Zoo. Back when I lived in Ludlow, they had a few animals and it has now grown to a feature attraction with all of the exotic animals there.

Sunday Dinner at Auntie Annie & Uncle Felix's

On Sunday, I went over to Auntie Annie's and Uncle Felix's for dinner. We were celebrating mine Uncle Charlies, Ray, and Susan's birthdays. Uncle Frankie, Tootsie, Auntie Rosemary, Uncle Charlie, Susan, Ray, Tom, and Denise were all there. We had macaroni, stuffed chicken, eggplant, and salad. Afterwards, we had a birthday cake for the 3 birthday boys and the birthday girl.
